What is your proudest accomplishment (either personal or professional)?

Passing Biology GCSE after my teacher had said it was a complete waste of time me sitting the paper as it was being collected after the exam. It was the only GCSE I passed that summer.

What do you like most about your job?

Standing up for the individual and putting their case forward.

What do you like least about your job?

Criminal Procedure Rules.

What is the best gift you’ve ever given/received?

Two years ago for Christmas a new electric guitar and amp.

What does your ideal day look like?

A family beach day surfing and getting wet.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Anything non-work related!

What is your dream job?

I’m doing it now.

What was the most interesting case you have dealt with at work?

I sadly dealt with a cot death murder where a juror was mistaken for the defendant, followed by a TV crew and had his house set alight. The defendant was acquitted!

Where is one place you’d love to travel to?

Iceland to experience the force of the Earth.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Shut up. Know when you have said enough.
