Woollcombe Yonge Ladies Charity Walk 15th June 2019
We have put on our walking shoes to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. Tracey Baker, Tracey Wright, Jan Santillo and Kathy Walker are taking on the MacMillan Mighty Hike Challenge and walking 26 miles from Weymouth to Wareham along the Jurassic Coast on Saturday 15th June 2019. We are hoping to complete the walk in under 10 hours.
We are busy spending evenings and weekends walking. This weekend saw us tackle a 20 mile walk from Looe towards Polruan – there were A LOT of steps!
Having lost our close friend and professional colleague Jacqui Batterbee to cancer in January we wanted to do something challenging in her memory as she gave so much raising thousands for cancer charities completing her last charity cycle in November of 2018, a truly remarkable lady.
