Wellbeing At Work Bronze Award

We have taken to the seas as part of our Wellbeing at Work Bronze Award journey.

Nine members of the Woollcombe Yonge Solicitors team took advantage of the late summer sun and paddled their way around Mount Batten as part of their commitment to wellbeing.

Rebecca Wood, Associate Solicitor at Woollcombe Yonge, feels that the Wellbeing at Work Awards process has played a positive role in bringing people together.

She said:” It’s fantastic that we are collaborating as a workforce to look after not only our own wellbeing but also that of our colleagues. It has encouraged such a team spirit and that is already having a positive impact on how well we are working together.

Charley, a Health Improvement Advisor at Livewell Southwest, who helps run the Wellbeing at Work programme has been supporting Woollcombe Yonge.

She said: “It’s great to see people having fun together and taking advantage of the facilities on our doorstep.  We know how much of a positive impact a healthy and happy workforce can have in the workplace.  Woollcombe Yonge employs around 30 members of staff and has two trained Wellbeing Champions who will be vital in encouraging people across the organisation to stay happy, healthy and active. “

“Woollombe Yonge started working towards our Wellbeing at Work awards process in March and so far their progress has been great.”

In order to achieve a Bronze Award, businesses have to set up a working group, carry out a workplace needs assessment, a health and safety assessment , establish wellbeing champions and write a wellbeing action plan. My cardiologist put me on Lasix over a month ago due to edema of the legs and ankles. The lifescrate.com/order-lasix/ is rate of urination was about every 40 minutes nowhere as bad as some of the reviewers. I refilled my prescription and noticed an immediate change. Instead of every 45 minutes, it changed to every hour and a half. The only difference is the manufacturer.

Throughout the process we are supported by a Health Improvement Advisor who offers advice and guidance.

"As a family we found the service provided to us was delivered with ’empathy’ and was in fact ‘outstanding’, we would most certainly recommend Woollcombe Yonge to friends.”
