Woollcombe Yonge Solicitors launch online wills service with MyIntent
Woollcombe Yonge Solicitors are pleased to announce our new partnership with MyIntent, a service which specialises in using the latest technological advancements to make creating your Will more accessible, efficient and cost-effective. By completing a brief online questionnaire and attending a 30-minute virtual meeting you will receive a complete draft Will, ready for signing, at a discounted price.
MyIntent offers the flexibility and convenience to start drafting your Will online, at your own pace. Using AI, you will be asked tailored questions to gain an insight into your estate and guide you through decisions about distribution whilst highlighting any potential areas of risk or opportunity. We will receive a draft Will based on your answers and arrange a virtual meeting to review and address any queries. Our professional legal guidance ensures that your Will accurately reflects your intentions whilst complying with the legal requirements. This process still provides clients with the professional legal advice they expect whilst allowing for more flexibility and convenience at a lower cost.
The charge for the basic Will is £249 (including VAT) for an individual or £349 (including VAT) for a couple requesting mirror Wills. If your estate requires a more complex Will, we will advise you during the virtual consultation and provide an explanation of the next steps and any additional fees involved.

FAQs
What if I change my mind after completing the interview?
Clients will always be sent a draft copy of their Will to review before an appointment is arranged for signing. Any amendments can be made by simply contacting a member of our team and a fresh draft will be sent out for your approval.
What if I am unable to attend the office to sign my Will?
If you live locally to Plymouth, we can arrange for a member of our team to visit your home for signing. Alternatively, we will provide clear instructions on how to independently arrange the signing and witnessing of your Will.
What happens after I sign?
After signing your Will, we recommend allowing us to keep this in our Strongroom for safe storage at no extra charge. We will send you a copy of your signed Will for your personal records.
What if my estate is too complex for the online tool?
If we determine your estate requires more detailed planning–such as involving trusts, multiple properties or significant inheritance tax–we will discuss alternative options during your virtual appointment and arrange a follow-up meeting to take further instructions.
