Guidance from our Wills, Trusts and Probate Team

The BBC have reported that palliative care doctors are urging people to talk to those closest to them about what would happen if they became seriously unwell with the coronavirus.

In the past few days alone, our Wills, Trusts & Probate team have taken numerous calls and responded to many emails from our clients about this precise issue. They are seriously worrying about their current situation in light of the ever changing government guidance and with many of my clients aged 65 and over, most self-isolating, they want to make sure there are measures in place should they contract coronavirus.

We want to reassure you that we are here to support those in need advice on this. We can help you to record your wishes should families be placed in the difficult position of having to make important decisions about your health, perhaps considering whether you’d rather be kept at home or in the hospital, and your wishes with regards to medication.

If you are stuck at home or are likely to become so in the coming days and weeks, you may wish to put into place a Power of Attorney to give others the legal authority to order best ultram deal with your affairs should you be unable to. We are happy to review any documents already in place and advise you about putting this in place if you haven’t already.

Should you need to discuss any issues raised with us, contact our Wills, Trusts & Probate on 01752 827920 or 01752 827944 or email rl@wysolicitors.co.uk.

We are here to support you where we can.
