Woollcombe Yonge nominated in the Celebrating Forces Families Awards 2025

The Business Award is for any corporate or commercial business which is actively supporting the Armed Forces community either through the Armed Forces Covenant, ERS, Forces Families Jobs or any other support directly aimed at the Armed Forces Community with a new and innovative project or service.

Being based in a military town, Woollcombe Yonge are extremely proud to support our Armed Forces in Plymouth.

We are signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant,  a promise from the nation to those who serve or who have served, and their families, which says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. The Armed Forces Covenant relies on the people, communities, and businesses of the UK to actively support it in order to make a difference.

In addition, we also offer a free legal clinic which is available to those currently serving, veterans and their families. We have run various competitions over the year for schools to get military children involved, allowing  them to express themselves during what can be a very difficult time if a family member is deployed, and we also attended Armed Forces Day in Plymouth to show our support.
