Charity of the Year 2026 – Gifted Women

We are extremely excited to announce Gifted Women as our Charity of the Year partner for 2026.

Each year staff are asked to nominate and vote for a charity, and this year Gifted Women was voted in as our charity for 2026. Today we met with Lucy Linn, CEO of Gifted Women to brainstorm some ideas for this years Charity of The Year.

Gifted Women supports women in Plymouth and the surrounding areas to move towards, and into employment. They work with women who are rebuilding their lives after facing homelessness, problematic substance use, or the justice system – experiences often shaped by trauma, domestic abuse, exploitation, and poverty.

Based at Mutley Baptist Church on Mutley Plain the charity help to unlock doors to employment for women overcoming multiple disadvantages.

We spoke about lots of exciting plans we have for raising money, awareness and sharing of skills to help the charity and the women it helps.
