Coronavirus Update

With the Coronavirus pandemic evolving we all continue to face uncertainty on a daily basis both in our Business and Personal lives.

We want to reassure you we are monitoring developments closely and doing our utmost to protect the health and well being of our employees, clients and others in our communities.

At the same time, we are doing everything we can to ensure any disruption to our service is minimal and we have taken a number of specific steps to address the situation;

Our Clients

Our office remains open as usual.  We will continue to see clients where it is absolutely necessary within our offices and we are taking additional steps to protect both themselves and our personnel.

We will be holding the majority of client meetings by telephone or video conference. We consider this is key to reducing any risk to health and wellbeing of our clients and our team.

We wish to stress we continue to operate fully and are in a position to continue to offer support to clients across all of the departments. We are in a position to accept new instructions and our In-House Advocates continue to attend court appointments.  Our Police Station Duty Solicitors continue to provide advice and assistance to those in need.

The relationships we have with our clients is vital and please do not hesitate to contact us and indeed we may be picking up the telephone to you more often than usual.

Our Business

We have established an agile working policy that enables the majority of our Team to work remotely and securely and we are following the Government guidance of our Team working at home where possible.  Whilst this step has been taken client service will continue as usual.

All of our Team can be reached as normal via email, telephone, Skype or other video conference facilities as are appropriate.

The Heads of Departments and Management team is meeting on a regular basis to review the latest Government advice and we are communicating with our colleagues regularly to ensure that everybody is aware of the latest advice and all necessary steps and precautions are taken.

Whilst we wish to continue to engage actively with our professional colleagues and clients, we have made the decision to postpone or cancel all networking events and training sessions for the foreseeable future but please feel free to contact us if there are any matters you wish to discuss.
